Avinger hurricane guide¶
Avinger is a small town in Cass County, in the far northeast corner of Texas, with no town website. It is far from the coast, but tropical storms that move inland can bring heavy rain, flooding, high winds, and tornadoes. A volunteer fire department serves the town. For local notices, follow Cass County and your local news.
