Nicaragua hurricane guide¶
SINAPRED, the Sistema Nacional para la Prevención, Mitigación y Atención de Desastres, is the national disaster system of Nicaragua. It says its aim is to reduce the impact of natural hazards on the population and the economy and to strengthen preparation. It publishes a family response plan for several hazards. Nicaragua is on this one page. The national weather institute (INETER) and the police and fire numbers could not be confirmed on official pages for this research and are not listed.
