Manica cyclone guide

Manica is an inland province in central Mozambique on the border with Zimbabwe. The national disaster institute INGD works in the province through its provincial delegation, and INAM, the national weather service, has a provincial office in Chimoio. INGD's reports describe Idai in 2019 and Freddy in 2023 reaching the province, and a 2025 to 2026 rainy season with flooded farmland and destroyed schools. Follow INGD, INAM, and your local authorities for warnings. INAM lists its Chimoio office phone as 20030431 without an area code, so it is not shown as a tap to call number.
