Kiribati cyclone guide

In Kiribati, the Office of Te Beretitenti (the President's office) has a Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management division that coordinates and leads national responses to natural disasters and climate crises. The Kiribati Meteorological Service, also a division of that office, provides weather, climate, and ocean information and publishes a statement on the tropical cyclone season. The cyclone season is roughly November to April. We could not confirm a national emergency number on an official page, so none is listed here. Kiribati is on this one page.

Every phone number and web address on this page was checked against official sources on that date. Details can change, especially during a storm. Always follow instructions from the Office of Te Beretitenti, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management division. Follow announcements from the government and your island council. For cyclone forecasts, call the Kiribati Meteorological Service, listed below. Emergency numbers will be added once official pages confirm them.
