Abington Township hurricane guide¶
Abington is an inland township, so the remains of tropical storms are mainly a flash flood concern. The township's Emergency Management and Planning Agency runs an Emergency Operations Center in the township building, and its Severe Weather Information page explains flash flooding. Residents sign up for county alerts through Ready MontCo.
