Rumford hurricane guide¶
Rumford is an inland town in Oxford County. The town's flood preparedness sheet, from Oxford County Emergency Management and Rumford Emergency Management, says flash floods can come from hurricanes and tropical storms and are the number one weather-related killer in the United States. The town has its own police department.
