Buchanan County hurricane guide¶
Buchanan County does not publish a separate emergency management page on its website. The county sends alerts through Everbridge and links a flood plan from its home page. Buchanan is a mountain county, so flooding and wind from the remains of tropical storms are the main storm concerns.
