Sunset Valley hurricane guide

Sunset Valley is a small city in southwest Austin along U.S. 290, far from the coast. The city lists severe storms, floods, extreme heat, ice, and tornadoes among its natural hazards, and tropical storms can bring flash flooding here. The city has its own police department, contracts with the Austin Fire Department for fire protection, and runs its own water and wastewater lines, with water bought from the City of Austin.
