Hideaway hurricane guide

Hideaway is a gated lake community about 13 miles northwest of Tyler, and the city has the same boundaries as the Hide-A-Way Lake Club. The city has no employees: the club's security staff run the gates and patrol, the Lindale Fire Department provides fire coverage under contract, and a private company, Undine, supplies water. Tropical storms that move inland can bring heavy rain, flooding, and high winds, so follow Smith County alerts.
