Miami hurricane guide

Miami is a city in Roberts County in the Texas Panhandle, not the Florida city of the same name. It is inland, far from the coast, so storm risk comes from heavy rain, flash flooding, and wind from the remains of a storm from the Gulf of Mexico. The city publishes no hurricane or flood page. See the Roberts County page for emergency management, alerts, and shelter guidance.
