Austwell hurricane guide¶
Austwell is a small city on Hynes Bay, an arm of San Antonio Bay, in eastern Refugio County. Its low ground by the bay is exposed to storm surge, high tides, flooding, and hurricane winds. Evacuation orders come from the Refugio County Judge, so sign up for county alerts and leave early when told.
