Camp Wood hurricane guide¶
Camp Wood is an inland community in Real County, far from the coast, so storm risk comes from heavy rain, flash flooding, and wind from the remains of a storm from the Gulf of Mexico. Camp Wood is in the Hill Country, where heavy rain can cause flash flooding. The city's website lists a Declaration of Local Disaster document but publishes no hurricane or flood guidance. See the Real County page for emergency management and shelter guidance.
