Shallowater hurricane guide

Shallowater is a small farming city northwest of Lubbock, far from the coast. The remains of tropical storms can still bring heavy rain, flooding, high winds, and tornadoes. The city runs its own Office of Emergency Management, outdoor warning sirens, and ShallowaterAlert notifications, and the Shallowater Police Department serves the city.
