Irion County hurricane guide¶
Irion County, in West Texas, does not publish an emergency management office page on its website. In Texas the County Judge directs county emergency management. The county offers an emergency alert sign up and posts burn ban notices. As an inland, dry county, flash flooding is the main hazard that can come from the remains of a tropical storm.
