Marshall hurricane guide¶
Marshall is the county seat of Harrison County in far East Texas, near the Louisiana line. Tropical storms that move inland can bring heavy rain, flooding, high winds, and tornadoes here. The city runs its own emergency management, police, fire, and water and sewer systems.

What to know in Marshall¶
- Marshall has seven outdoor Early Warning Sirens, usually sounded for National Weather Service tornado warnings that include part of the city. The sirens have no all-clear sound, so keep checking local radio, TV, or weather radio until the danger has passed.
