Fredericksburg hurricane guide

Fredericksburg is a city in Gillespie County in the Texas Hill Country, far from the coast, so storm remains from the Gulf of Mexico can bring heavy rain and flash flooding rather than storm surge. The city has a Floodplain page and a Stormwater and Drainage program, and its own alert system. See the Gillespie County page for emergency management and shelter guidance.
