Edwards County hurricane guide

Edwards County Emergency Management, run by the county's Emergency Management Coordinator in Rocksprings, plans for disasters in this Hill Country county. The county is far from the coast, but flash flooding on the Edwards Plateau and heavy rain from the remains of tropical storms are risks. Never drive through flooded roads.

Edwards County does not publish a list of shelters. If shelters open, follow announcements from the county. Do not go to a shelter until it is announced as open.
