Morton hurricane guide¶
Morton is the county seat of Cochran County on the South Plains of Texas, far from the coast. Heavy rain, including from the remains of a tropical storm, can cause flash flooding, so never drive through flooded roads. For county emergency management, alerts, and agencies, see the Cochran County page.
