Johnson City hurricane guide¶
Johnson City is in northeast Tennessee, far from the coast. The city says most flooding events in Johnson City are flash floods that send rain water into creeks, and that the area's mountainous terrain makes fast moving water on roads and creeks hazardous. For county agencies, see the Carter County page.
