Mount Pleasant hurricane guide

Mount Pleasant says flooding from severe storms and heavy rain is one of the most common hazards in the Lowcountry, and that coastal flooding is worse at high tide because of the low-lying land. The town has an Emergency Manager and an emergency preparedness program. Use the county page for county agencies, zones, and shelters.
