Anderson County Emergency Management is a division of the Anderson County Sheriff's Office. It plans for the county's main hazards, which for an inland Upstate county include flooding, high winds and tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, winter weather, dam failures, and the Oconee nuclear station. The division's website has guidance on flooding, family emergency plans, and flood insurance.
