Narragansett hurricane guide¶
The Town of Narragansett lists hurricanes first among the hazards in its emergency plan and says it is especially vulnerable to coastal flooding and flooding from hurricanes and tropical storms. Its hurricane page says the Emergency Management Agency may order a mandatory evacuation of low-lying coastal areas. The town publishes an evacuation map and an alert system sign up.
