Vandemere hurricane guide¶
Vandemere is a small waterfront town on the Bay River in Pamlico County, three miles from the Intracoastal Waterway, so storm surge and flooding are its main hurricane dangers. Town Hall is open Tuesdays and Thursdays. For storm warnings and evacuation orders, use the Pamlico County alerts and Know Your Zone lookup.
