Scarsdale hurricane guide

The Village of Scarsdale, in Westchester County, is inland. Its Storm Preparedness page asks residents to sign up for Everbridge, the village emergency notification system, tells them not to walk, swim, or drive through flood waters, and advises moving valuables to higher levels if flooding is anticipated. The village Engineering Department helps residents find out whether a property is in a FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area.
