Mount Vernon hurricane guide

The City of Mount Vernon's Office of Emergency Management plans for natural and man made disasters and runs the city's Emergency Operations Center in large events. The city's Hazardous Weather page says hurricane season traditionally runs from June 1 to November 30 and that a severe storm can appear at any time of year.
