Tioga County hurricane guide¶
The Tioga County Office of Emergency Services, in Owego, coordinates the county's preparation for and response to emergencies. The pages we checked do not publish flood or hurricane guidance, but its page links the county's 2024 hazard mitigation plan. Flash flooding along creeks and the Susquehanna River is the main concern for an inland county. Never drive through flood water, and dial 911 for emergencies.
