Marathon hurricane guide¶
Marathon has no hurricane, flood or emergency management page of its own on its official site. Use the agencies on the Cortland County page for emergency management, alerts, evacuation and shelter information. The town site lists a mailing address and a contact form but no phone line for the town hall.
Checked on October 10, 2026
Every phone number and web address on this page was checked against official sources on that date. Details can change, especially during a storm. Always follow instructions from the Town of Marathon. In a life threatening emergency, call 911.
