Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Shelter locations are announced by the city and county when needed. Do not go to any site until officials say it is open. This town's pages say little about hurricanes beyond what its county publishes, so also read the county page for the county agencies, alerts, and shelter information.
