Chatham hurricane guide¶
Chatham is an inland town in Carroll County, far from the coast, so the main dangers when the remains of a tropical storm move through are heavy rain, flash flooding, and high winds. The town website has an Emergency Management Director page that links to the state's Homeland Security and Emergency Management division. It publishes no hurricane or flood page. For alerts and shelters, use the agencies on the Carroll County page.
