Yazoo City hurricane guide¶
Yazoo City is the county seat of Yazoo County, on the Yazoo River at the edge of the Mississippi Delta. Tropical storms can bring heavy rain, flooding, wind, and tornadoes here. The city has its own police and fire departments, and its Public Works Department handles sewers, streets, storm drainage, and garbage.
