Carver hurricane guide¶

Carver's Emergency Management Agency maintains the town's emergency plan and coordinates responses to hazards such as hurricanes and blizzards. The town links the Atlantic hurricane season page, its 2022 Hazard Mitigation Plan, and Smart911 enrollment.

Evacuation centers¶

Open only when announced

Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.

The town's alert page says to dial 2-1-1 for Mass 2-1-1 for shelter and access and functional needs information. Shelters open only when officials announce them.
