Pepperell hurricane guide¶
Pepperell's Emergency Preparedness page covers hurricanes and notes that hurricane season runs from June 1 through the end of November. The town says Massachusetts is not highly vulnerable but is far from immune, and it runs the Pepperell Alerts emergency notification system.

Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
The town's preparedness page says that if you have to go to an emergency shelter you need to bring your own clothing, hygiene supplies, medications, and phone chargers. Shelters open only when officials announce them.
