Macon County hurricane guide¶
The Macon County Emergency Management Agency in Montezuma is responsible for disaster planning, mitigation, and response in the county. Macon County is inland, and its pages describe tornadoes, severe weather, and planning rather than evacuation. Parts of the county's pages are old (a 2020 notice appears in the side bar), so call to confirm before relying on a name or number.
