Laurens County hurricane guide¶
The Laurens County Emergency Management Agency works to protect life and property from man-made and natural disasters through prevention, preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. The county uses Regroup for emergency and weather notifications. The county's pages do not give an EMA phone number, so use the numbers below and call 911 in an emergency.

Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Laurens County's pages do not publish a shelter list. Check Regroup alerts, and do not go to any site until the county announces it.
Cities and towns¶
Each city has its own services and some have their own alerts. The county's evacuation zones, evacuation centers, and emergency alerts cover everyone, in every city and in unincorporated areas.
