Butts County hurricane guide¶
Butts County Emergency Services, led by the Director of Emergency Services, covers EMS, the fire department, the Fire Marshal's Office, and fire safety education for the county. Butts is inland south of Atlanta and the county's pages do not publish hurricane evacuation zones or a shelter list.

Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Butts County's pages do not publish a shelter list or evacuation guidance. Check with Emergency Services and local news in a storm, and do not go to any site until it is announced.

Each city has its own services and some have their own alerts. The county's evacuation zones, evacuation centers, and emergency alerts cover everyone, in every city and in unincorporated areas.
