Fort Myers hurricane guide¶
Fort Myers is the Lee County seat, on the Caloosahatchee River. The city has its own police department and its own Emergency Management Division, which is part of the Fort Myers Fire Department.

What to know in Fort Myers¶
- If you live in or manage a community with private or gated roads, file the city's Emergency Debris Removal Right of Entry form before a storm so city crews can clear debris. FEMA requires a copy of the HOA or condominium association insurance policy with the form.
