Malabar is a small town on the mainland in south Brevard County, along the Indian River Lagoon. The town has its own fire department and lists no town police department, so for police matters that are not emergencies, use the Brevard County Sheriff's Office number on the county page.

What to know in Malabar¶
- For storm debris, make separate piles for yard debris and for building materials, because mixed piles may not be picked up. Cut limbs to no more than 4 feet and 50 pounds, and keep piles out of roads, ditches, swales, and storm drains. For large yard debris piles, call Waste Pro to ask for a claw truck.
