Mexico Beach hurricane guide

Mexico Beach is a small beach city on the Gulf coast in eastern Bay County. It was damaged by Hurricane Michael in 2018 and has since rebuilt much of its infrastructure. The Bay County Sheriff's Office provides police service, and the city runs its own fire rescue department.

Power, water and debris

  • City of Mexico Beach sanitation and yard waste: Garbage is collected twice a week. Yard waste piles larger than 4 by 4 by 8 feet are special pickups arranged with City Hall. Contractor debris is not collected. Phone: 850-648-5700. Website.
