Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Westbrook names the Daisy Ingraham School at 105 Goodspeed Drive as its primary shelter, but says not to go to a school before, during, or after a disaster unless the town announces it. The town posts shelter information through CT Alert, its website, and signs in town.
