Riverside hurricane guide¶
The City of Riverside Ready Riverside program says the climate and topography make flooding a reality in Riverside, and that certain parts of the city are more likely to flood. The city has posted guidance for residents before tropical storm rain in the past. See the Riverside County page for county agencies.

What to know in Riverside¶
- The city says flood insurance takes 30 days to take effect, and it points residents to the FEMA Flood Map Service Center to learn their flood risk. It asks residents to report clogged catch basins to 311.
