Bakersfield hurricane guide¶
Bakersfield's own pages say little about hurricanes or tropical storms. The city's Public Works Street Division handles flood control and the cleaning and repair of storm drains, and takes reports of street flooding. For emergency management, alerts, and shelters, use the agencies on the Kern County page.
