Winkelman hurricane guide¶
Winkelman is a small town at the confluence of the San Pedro and Gila Rivers, so flash flooding and river flooding from heavy rain, including rain from the remains of a tropical storm, are the main dangers. The town's website offers a news sign up for town activities and river status. It publishes no hurricane or flood page, so use the Gila County page and ReadyGila for emergency management and alerts.
