Powell hurricane guide¶
Powell is an inland town in DeKalb County, far from the coast, so the main dangers when the remains of a tropical storm move through are heavy rain, flash flooding, and high winds. Use the agencies on the DeKalb County page for emergency management, alerts, and shelters.
