Leighton hurricane guide¶
Leighton is a small town in eastern Colbert County, in the Shoals area of northwest Alabama. The remains of a hurricane or tropical storm can bring heavy rain, flash flooding, strong wind, and tornadoes. The town has its own police department and a volunteer fire department.
