Allgood hurricane guide

Allgood is an inland town in Blount County, far from the coast, so the main dangers when the remains of a tropical storm move through are heavy rain, flash flooding, and high winds. The town's website asks residents to seek the storm shelter at 4535 Old Highway 75 in severe weather, which is a tornado shelter, not a hurricane evacuation shelter, and offers a text alert sign up. For emergency management, use the agencies on the Blount County page.
