Pampanga typhoon guide¶
Pampanga is a low lying Central Luzon province on the Pampanga River basin and the northern shore of Manila Bay. River flooding and typhoon rain are its main exposure, and storm surge can affect the bay coast. The provincial disaster office name and hotlines could not be confirmed on an official page on the date of research, so this page gives the national numbers and PAGASA links. Follow PAGASA and your provincial, city, and municipal disaster offices.
Checked on October 10, 2026
Every phone number and web address on this page was checked against official sources on that date. Details can change, especially during a storm. Always follow instructions from the provincial disaster risk reduction and management council and office, with PAGASA for weather warnings. In a life threatening emergency, call 911.
Emergency and information numbers¶
| Service | Number | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency | 911 | Unified 911 for police, fire, medical, and disaster response, as the Department of the Interior and Local Government describes it. Free and answered around the clock. Call only when someone's life or property is in danger. |
Official alerts and information¶
- PAGASA Severe Weather Bulletin: PAGASA's bulletin for typhoons and tropical storms. Check the issue time on each one. Website.
- PAGASA flood information: PAGASA's flood information page, with river basin flood forecasting and warning products. Website.
Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
PAGASA's storm surge page tells people in a storm surge prone area to identify the safest and quickest way to high ground, to know which concrete reinforced multi-story buildings the local government has designated for evacuation, and to prepare to evacuate as soon as their Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council or barangay officials advise it. A shelter or evacuation center is open only when your local officials announce it.
