Agusan del Sur typhoon guide¶
Agusan del Sur is a landlocked province in the Caraga Region, with its provincial government offices in Prosperidad and Bayugan City as its one component city. The provincial government publishes an emergency hotline page with a PDRRMO number under a Search and Rescue heading, plus numbers for each municipality. PAGASA issues the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals. Follow PAGASA bulletins and your city or municipal disaster office.

Every phone number and web address on this page was checked against official sources on that date. Details can change, especially during a storm. Always follow instructions from provincial disaster risk reduction and management office of Agusan del Sur (listed as PDRRMO on the provincial government's emergency hotline page). In a life threatening emergency, call 911.

Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
PAGASA tells people to know the concrete, reinforced multi-story buildings their local government has designated for evacuation. Evacuation centres are announced by your municipal or city disaster office and barangay officials. This page does not list any as open.
Cities and towns¶
Each city has its own services and some have their own alerts. The county's evacuation zones, evacuation centers, and emergency alerts cover everyone, in every city and in unincorporated areas.
