Livingstone Shire Council cyclone guide¶
Livingstone Shire Council and its Local Disaster Management Group run disaster management for the shire, which includes Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast. The council runs a Disaster Dashboard at disaster.livingstone.qld.gov.au. Check it for warnings and for any evacuation centre or cyclone shelter information.

Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
This page does not list evacuation centres or cyclone shelters. Do not assume any is open. Check the Livingstone Disaster Dashboard and council announcements.
