Isaac Regional Council cyclone guide¶
Isaac Regional Council and the Isaac Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) run disaster management for the Isaac region, which includes inland towns such as Moranbah, Clermont, Dysart and Middlemount and coastal communities such as St Lawrence, Clairview and Carmila. The council has a Disaster Dashboard with an SMS and email alert sign up.

- Isaac Disaster Dashboard: Choose SMS and Email Alerts on the dashboard, register, confirm your email, then verify your mobile number on your profile page. Without verification you will not receive SMS alerts. Website.
Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
The council disaster page does not list evacuation centres or cyclone shelters. Do not assume any is open. Check the Isaac Disaster Dashboard and council announcements.
