Richmond Valley Council cyclone guide¶
Richmond Valley Council is the local council for the Richmond Valley in northern New South Wales, including Casino, Evans Head, Woodburn, Coraki, Rappville, and Broadwater. Council's emergency page names the Northern Rivers Local Emergency Management Committee (NR LEMC) as the body that developed the Northern Rivers EMPLAN. Council runs a Disaster Dashboard. For a life threatening emergency call 000, and for flood or storm help call the SES on 132 500.

Evacuation centers¶
Open only when announced
Evacuation centers open only when officials announce them, and not every center opens for every storm. Check the official list of open centers before you leave home. Bring your own bedding, food, water, and medicines.
Evacuation centres are run by emergency services and are announced for each event. Do not assume any centre is open. Follow Hazards Near Me and official announcements.
